    Jagielka wanted by West Ham and Sunderland

    Everton captain Phil Jagielka is wanted by West Ham United and Sunderland as he seeks talks with Ronald Koeman to discuss his future according to the Daily Mail.

    The Everton manager is looking to reduce the age of the squad and 34 year old Jagielka could decide that his future is elsewhere.

    Everton will look to bring in a central defender to play alongside Ashley Williams and a bid for Virgil Van Dijk has been rumoured, although it is unlikely he will be sold in January unless the bid is too big to refuse.

    Sunderland are looking perilously close to being relegated and are looking for defensive reinforcements to help a leaky defence.
