    Joe Royle set to return to Everton staff under Roberto Martinez

    Everton’s legendary player and manager Joe Royle is set to seal an amazing return to the club under Roberto Martinez according to The Mirror

    Royle is set to be named as the clubs development director and is tasked with keeping an eye on Everton’s loan players and report back with their progress.

    Martinez has been in talks with Royle, who guided Everton to FA Cup success in 1995, about a return to the club and hopes that Big Joe will take him up on the offer.

    The move would further strengthen Roberto Martinez standing with the blue half of Merseyside as the Spaniard is keen to embrace Everton legends and the clubs history.
