    Kevin Mirallas was set to leave Everton

    Everton winger Kevin Mirallas was close to leaving Everton last season following a fall-out with then manager Roberto Martinez according to his father.

    Super Kevs dad revealed that the pair had a bust up before Mirallas was due to leave but the club pulled the plug on the deal but his father says that Kevin will now work hard for Everton once again.

    He said: “It was only last year. It really wasn’t going well. Kevin and him (Martinez) didn’t get along anymore.”

    The club stopped him from changing club, and that’s when the relationship completely changed. Something broke. Martinez wasn’t very tolerating. Either you’re with him or you’ve got a problem.”
