    Koeman: Moshiri’s ambitions are higher than Champions League qualification

    New Everton manager Ronald Koeman has said that new shareholder Farhad Moshiri’s ambitions are beyond just qualifying for the Champions League.

    Evertonians across the globe are getting more and more excited by the Iranians ambitions and the comments by Koeman are echoing what many ITK’s have been saying on Everton messageboards.

    “I don’t like to mention the Champions League,” said Koeman. “There will be changes in the team but the ambition is a lot higher – from the chairman [Bill Kenwright] and Farhad Moshiri.

    “They like to win and like to see good football. And they want to see the fans proud of the team.”

    2. After what Leicester achievd last season, anything is possible. Realistically, I would be delighted with a solid season and a Europa League place.

      If we get a Champions League place I will be absolutely delighted.
