    Manchester United & Everton discuss Lukaku and Rooney moves

    Everton and Manchester United have been talking about Romelu Lukaku and Wayne Rooney swapping clubs according to Paul Joyce in the times.

    According to the journalist discussions have stepped up a gear recently and the 2 clubs have been discussing transferring Romelu Lukaku from Everton to Manchester United and Wayne Rooney back to Everton from the Manchester club.

    The one hurdle with Rooney is his £250,000 per week package and it’s been understood that Rooney, who has one year left on his contract, would not like to be out of pocket with any move.

    Chelsea are also interested in Lukaku, who has stated his desire time and time again – especially when away with his country – that he wants to play Champions League football this year.  Everton are demanding £100m for him to move.
