Martinez back in for left-back following Oviedo injury
Everton boss Roberto Martinez is back in the hunt for Dundee United left-back Andrew Robertson following the injury to Bryan Oviedo in the 4-0 win against Stevenage at the Lamex stadium according to the Daily Mirror.
Oviedo broke two bones in his leg following a clash and will be missing for a number of months following surgery today and Martinez will look to fill the void left by Oviedo with a signing.
The gaffer was going to wait until the summer before pursuing a deal for the Scottish left-back but according to the report he could strike now after scouting the player for the last few months.
Robertson has had a rapid rise to the top and less than 2 years ago was playing amateur football with Queens Park.
