Martinez believes he is in a stronger position than when he joined
Everton manager Roberto Martinez believes that his position as Everton manager is now stronger than when he first arrived at the club, despite many of the Goodison Park faithful calling for him to be sacked.
The Spaniard has seen his side to their worst ever home record this season, but strangely believes that his position as manager is stronger now.
“I know what I want for our football club, that is not going to change.
“I knew from the first day it wasn’t going to be straightforward and easy but after three seasons now. I am in a stronger position than I was the first day I arrived.”
“When you are Everton manager, you are in a position where you have to take responsibility and I do that for our performances and results.
“We have had eight defeats at home and conceded 30 goals and that is not what we should be achieving.
“That’s in contrast to our away form, with three defeats and 19 goals conceded. I respect every fan’s opinion.
“What I need to do is make sure I correct that home form, that’s the top and bottom of it.”
Should Martinez be sacked?

The guy is deluded borderline certifiable. As well as losing the players and the fans he also now lost the plot.
More utter rubbish. He’s now just embarrassing himself. Time for the board to end this.
Only a nut like kenWright would have give him the job in the first place ,until kenWright goes Everton will do nothing and that’s a fact.
