Martinez Everton future in doubt and could go shortly
Roberto Martinez Everton future is in doubt with key members of the Everton board set to discuss his future before Saturdays match against Bournemouth according to various newspaper reports including the Guardian.
Board members including Bill Kenwright, Robert Elstone, Jon Woods and Farhad Moshiri’s representative on the board Alexander Ryazantsev are set to meet this week to discuss the clubs poor league campaign.
The majority of the Everton fanbase have now turned against the manager and according to reports, quite a few senior players are questioning the embattled manager as he fights to save his job.
Everton currently sit 11th in the table and still aren’t mathematically safe from relegation, although remarkable results would need to happen for this to occur.
Lucien Favre and former David Moyes are being touted as possible successors, although the fanbase would be split if Moyes is appointed following 11 years without success in his previous spell as manager.
Will Martinez be in charge for Bournemouth?
