Martinez: It is two points dropped
Roberto Martinez was disappointed to draw the game at the Hawthorns against West Bromwich Albion and drop two points, but he also sees it as another point to add to the tally. The blues were lacklustre and an awful second half performance helped WBA back into the game after some slack defending.
Martinez said: “We are disappointed to concede the goal in the manner we did – defending a corner and trying to quickly counter-attack.
“For those reasons, we dropped two points but away from home, it is another point towards our tally.
“I think it is fair to say we started the game really well.
“When we got forward, we got rid of the pressure West Brom were putting on us and looked dangerous but when you get into a dangerous position, you need to have a two-goal cushion.
“It was a difficult pitch for the team in possession. It was forcing you to make the wrong decision and the wrong control.”

I thought the referee was atrocious too. OK we passed poorly and gave away possession too easily, but The Baggies got away with a lot of spoiling fouls, without sanction of any sort, let alone being awarded cards.Mr Oliver you need to go back to ref school.
