Mayor Anderson: I’m confident Everton will have a stadium within three years
Leader of Liverpool City Council Mayor Joe Anderson has shocked certain sections of the Everton faithful by declaring that he believes that Everton will have a new stadium within three years.
Hot off the heels of a joint-announcement with the club that Walton Hall Park will now be pursued, Anderson says that the club will have a stadium in Liverpool and the timescale will be quicker than most Evertonians believed would happen.
Mayor Anderson said on BBC Radio Merseyside: “I’m confident the new stadium will be up and running in three years time.
“I think there is a real acceptance by them and I’m pretty confident that within three years there will be a new stadium for Everton football club in Liverpool.”
Where do you think the new stadium will be?

yet again anther mess we make when trying to sort a new stadium. When will we ever get it right???
As Liverpool had plans approved for Stanley park, which they will no longer be taking up. Why can’t Everton go there?
