A further 3 players have today gone out on loan, after Vellios joined Blackpool earlier today. The 3 are John Lundstram, Matthew Pennington and Hallam Hope and they have joined Football League clubs Leyton Orient, Tranmere and Bury respectively.
Lundstram, after returning from Championship side Yeovil, has gone to Orient on an initial 1 month loan. The 20-year-old is now in immediate contention for Saturday’s home game against Bradford. The Os are currently third in League One, three points off the automatic places.
Central defender Matthew Pennington has rejoined Tranmere on loan until the end of the season. The 19-year-old returns to Prenton Park after playing 9 games for Rovers in January and February this year. The League One side, currently managed by interim boss John McMahon, are battling to stay out of the relegation zone and host Carlisle on Saturday.
And forward Hope has joined Bury on loan until the end of the season. He could be in contention to feature at former loan club Northampton Town on Saturday. The 20-year-old had already spent one month with the Cobblers earlier this term and now has a further chance to pick up experience in League Two.
