Moshiri won’t discuss Stones deal until bidding goes past £50m
Everton major shareholder Farhad Moshiri has told Manchester City that he won’t even discuss John Stones leaving Goodison Park until the bidding is well past £50m according to the Mirror.
The 22 year old looks likely to become Manchester City’s record signing, eclipsing the £54.5m they paid for Kevin de Bruyne.
Stones will miss todays match against Barnsley with an “injury” and rumours that a deal has been complete for a long time remain loud on social media.
Koeman is targeting at least one centre back even if John Stones stays and the club have been linked with a move for Senegal international Kalidou Koulibaly.
Will John Stones be a big miss for Everton if he leaves?

Stones has undoubted ability and given the right guidance I believe he will turn out to be a world class centre half or holding midfield player . It’s a shame Koeman will not get to work with him but £50 million + is a lot of money …
