Newcastle and Crystal Palace want McCarthy
Everton midfielder James McCarthy is wanted by 2 Premier League teams and a Championship team as he weighs up offers to leave the club.
The Daily Mail reports that Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Sunderland are all interested in taking the Republic of Ireland international to their teams.
Sunderland will struggle to afford McCarthy as boardroom tussles and an owner looking to sell the club hamper David Moyes transfer plans.
Newcastle are thought to be preparing a bumper offer to sign McCarthy to lead their midfield.
Should James McCarthy stay at Everton?

seems Newcastle don’t do ” bumper offers”Townsend would seem like an easier deal but for some reason they seem reluctant to spend money, get Tiote off the payroll and that would free up money for loan players,if they miss out on promotion by not reinforcing the squad it will be another example of Ashley’s ineptitude when it comes to running a football club,Benitez,of course ,will walk, mind you there is a dream management team available ,Pardue,Kinnear and Wise, break out the jellied eels
