With new manager Roberto Martinez looking at how to take Everton to the next level, the club have been looking at 22-year-old Stefan Johansen, part of the Norway team who humbled England 3-1 on Saturday reports the Daily Mail and Norwegian media NRK
Still playing in his native country with Stromgodset, midfielder Johansen has been capped by his country at every level up to the under-21s.
Everton scout Bryan King has been living in Norway for many years and know well the Norwegian talent. He is in place in Tel Aviv to follow the tournament for the English big club and said to TV 2 Sport that has followed Johansen in several games this spring and summer.
“There are several English clubs who are very impressed with the Norwegian players. I think many have underestimated Norway” says King to tv2.no
