Player travels for Everton talks – Transfer very close
Everton are on the verge of agreeing their first piece of business of the January window with the signing of Rafik Zekhnini according to Norwegian newspaper Varden.
The 18 year old winger currently plies his trade with hometown club Odd, but after scoring 5 goals in 27 appearances Everton look set to sign him.
Odd FC Director of football Einar Handlykken confirmed the player wasn’t at a medal reception because he is being sold to the club “Rafik is not here today because he has been given permission to travel and meet a club that have shown interest in him,” said Handlykken. “I will not comment on this other than that it is a European top club. We have received bids on him, but cannot say anything about which club this is. We will sell him for this bid,”
The tall, pacey player can play on the wing and upfront and has represented Norway at all levels up to Under 21’s.

Does Zekhnini look a decent signing?
