Queens Park Rangers want Everton striker
Queens Park Rangers manager Ian Holloway is interested in a move for Everton striker Arouna Kone, but fears that his wages may prove a stumbling block according to GetWestLondon.co.uk.
The 33 year old Ivorian has been frozen out of the first team squad for most of the season but made a return to action in the 1-2 loss to Leicester in the FA Cup at the weekend.
Everton could be set to shift Kone and Oumar Niasse in the January window as they look set to revamp their squad following a disappointing start to the season.
Kone has scored 10 goals in 29 starts for the toffees, although he has a further 30 appearances from the subs bench. Kone’s Everton career was hampered by an ACL injury 6 games into his Everton career.
Who would you like to replace Arouna Kone?
