Real Madrid have reportedly opened negotiations with the Spanish side to bring the 27-year-old to the Bernabéu.
Speculation still surrounds their English international Leighton Baines, who’s been linked to reunion with new Manchester United boss David Moyes.
Starsport revealed last week Everton’s resolve to keep Baines could crack if United increase their offer to around £18m.

And so far they have rejected an opening £12m bid from their former boss.
Everton have also made it known that Baines, 28 would have to ask for a transfer if he wants to be reunited with Moyes.
According to TALKsport, the left-back could be prised away for around £7m, with the Merseyside failing already with a transfer offer worth around £3m.
