    Steven Pienaar tweets his thanks to Evertonians after leaving the club

    South African midfielder Steven Pienaar has tweeted his goodbyes to Evertonians after seeing his contract expire.

    The 34 year old is yet to announce where he will be playing next, but thanked the club for giving him the chance to play in the Premier League and also thanked the fans for their support.

    Pienaar played for the club on two separate occasions having been signed twice by David Moyes, making over 150 appearances for the club.
