    Striker a priority as Everton target 17 goal hitman

    Everton have made a striker a priority this season with QPR’s Charlie Austin one of the top names on their wanted list according to the Daily Mail.

    The former non-league player has risen through the ranks and scored well at every level that he has played at throughout the league and has been linked with a number of teams this summer.

    Newcastle United, Crystal Palace and Southampton have also shown an interest in the 17 goal striker as the hitman has lit up the Premier League this season.

    Austin has 107 goals in 178 starts across the league and is on the verge of an England call-up following some excellent goalscoring form.
