Tony Hibbert to join West Bromwich Albion?
Long serving Everton right back Tony “the shoe” Hibbert is being linked with a free transfer to join former Everton academy boss Alan Irvine at West Bromwich Albion according to the Daily Mail.
Roberto Martinez is keen to keen the popular 33 year old defender at Goodison Park despite very limited playing time, but the player is yet to sign a contract with the team he made his debut for in 2001.
Irvine has already brought former Everton player Joleon Lescott to WBA and would like to sign Hibbert to help shore up the West Midlanders defence.
Hibbert has made 318 appearances in all competitions for the club and Everton are the only team that he has played for in his professional career.
