West Brom join the race for Johnny Heitinga
West Bromwich Albion have joined the race for Everton defender Johnny Heitinga according to Sports Direct News.
Whether this is because we play each other on Monday or whether there is actually a proper source remains to be seen, but Heitinga would be a useful addition for West Brom.
Heitinga has been linked with moves to Hull City, Roma, Fulham, Newcastle, Galatasaray and Stoke City and recently turned down a move to West Ham United.
The 30 year old is out of contract in the summer and will definitely leave Everton during the January transfer window to secure a place in the Netherlands World Cup squad. The Dutch defender recently told Everton supporters in Tenerife that it was likely that he would move abroad though.
Everton have been linked with Italian youngster Soprano as a replacement.
